The Toronto Onyx Lions Club is dedicated to encouraging the empowerment of people to achieve lifelong successes, through promoting programs that empower and strengthen knowledge, productivity in enterprise, service to others, integrity, civic responsibility, goodwill, and a strong sense of purpose.
VISION
The Toronto Onyx Lion’s Club will
· Recognize the intellectual and educational challenges in our community
· Strengthen human resource capacity to support sustainable development
· Promote and stimulate employment, creativity, and investment
· Contribute to improved productivity of individuals, and enterprises
· Highlight and enhance the impact of Lionism in Toronto and the world
This season the proceeds from our fundraising events will be in support of youths to attend summer camp, namely, Camp Jumoke for youths afflicted with sickle cell anemia , No Strings Theatre's priority area scholarship for under-serviced youths, as well as launching an ongoing sponsorship of the Dog Guides Lions Foundation of Canada.
